Subject:Scaling MIDI velocity

I 'm beginning to get more involved in Acid 4.0's soft synths, and I'm finding it useful, but limited. I know, it's just that way. But I was wondering... Is there a way to scale or add/subtract the velocity? I ended up adjusting the velocity with the pencil tool, but I'd love to be able to do it with some kind of scaling function.

I'm not well versed on MIDI, but I thought as long as you could assign MIDI velocity to an assignable MIDI knob/slider (should your MIDI controller have such a function), you could automate such changes as you record MIDI. Anyone?

Velocity scaling would be the ability the reduce or increase velocity by a set number or a percentage. In my specific case my midi track was a little too quiet (low velocity) and I wanted to increase to velocity for the whole track by a uniform amount.

Just insert a volume command at the beginning of the midi track.
