i went to go buy recording software for my comp and when i got there the guy told me it would sound like shit if i didnt get an interface for it,so i bought a tascam us-122 usb audio/midi interface and it comes wit some studio software called giga studio or something like that and it wont unlock,i wanted to know could i use acid dj 3.0 with this usb,i called the store and he said it would have to be asario compatiable or something could someone help me |

Hmmm, unless you are going to be recording audio or midi you will never need the Tascam unit. If you are going to do those things I would recommend getting a pci interface unless you are doing mobile/laptop stuff in which case the Tascam is just ok. I don't know if your stuff would really sound like "s#@t" even if you did use your onboard sound device. As usual it sounds like some desperate sales guy was using fear to get you to drop some cash. I'm not saying that this person is incorrect, but unless you are planning to do audio professionally, most onbaord audio is pretty good. Any how, maybe if you could let us know what it is you are trying to accomplish, so we could guide you a little better. Luceses |
