Subject:MIDI and Damper pedal

I've got a classical piano sequence.
When I play it in Acid, it seems that the damper pedal control is NOT interpreted. I mean, no notes are sustained when the pedal is pressed.
I've noticed this with DLS Soft synth as well as with Sfz soundfont player.

Any reason ? Idea ? Anyone ?
