Subject:No monitoring whilst recording Posted by: D247 Date:2/29/2004 11:42:26 AM Hi, I'm using a windows Xp pro on a new PC and have the following problem with sound forge 6.0. Pretty new to this software, I have just installed a new soundcard - audiophile 24bit and whilst recording music into the computer I can't hear what is being recorded? It plays back fine after recording has stopped, I have jiggled with some settings and can't seem to monitor the recording at all? Any help would be appreciated Regards D

Under the "Patchbay/Router" tab, send the desired outs to "Monitor Mixer". Under the "Monitor Mixer" tab, check the inputs and outputs you'd like to use and turn their respective sliders up. You should then be able to monitor while recording. Note it's a bit more complicated if you're trying to record via S/PDIF. Let me know if that's the case.
