I have Discrete Drums Volume I and they are not 24 bit. If you want some excellent versatile real sounding drum loops in many different rock styles that are relatively inexpensive ($49.95), try Drums on Demand. They come in many different formats in 16 bit & 24 bit. I have both DOD volumes I & II (ACIDized in 24 bit) and they are some of the best rock, pop & country drum loops you will find and are very easy to use because they took the time to actually break the loops down into easily recognizible feel & tempo folders and loop naming scheme. Like one folder would be called:

087 BPM (Slow & Punchy)

Inside the folder are loops divided into actual song sections that songwriters and musicains can understand:

Intro
Alt Intro
Intro Crash
Verse 1
Verse 2
Verse rim
Alt Verse 1
Alt Verse 2
Verse Fill 1
Alt Verse 1
Bridge
Bridge Fill 1
Bridge Fill 1
Chorus 1
Chorus Ride Crash
Alt Chorus
Chorus Fill 1
Chorus Fill 2
Fill 1
Fill 2
Ending
Alt Ending

Of course you can edit these loops, however you wish to fit your song as needed. Some have as many as 36 different song segments to use in each song set. Over 800 individual loops on each CD (no filler).

There are more than 35 different song sets on each CDROM, in different tempos and feels. Check out some of the Songs DOD users have submitted using these loops, on the DOD (Community) forum. Great stuff, many DOD users use apps like ACID and SONAR to create their arrangements. I use both DOD volumes I & II (24 BIT) in ACID and SONAR all the time. They are my favorite drum loop CD's right now. The drum loop song sets have excellent overall tonal balance that are not overly processed and fit great in a mix.
