O.k. i fully upgraded from my old version to 4.0 and i'm still having the same problem. I noticed another thing too. Say im recording a new track, when i play guitar the monitor looks the way it should, there is no delay. Once i actually start recording its out of sync with what im playing. Im getting quite angry because i really like acid and hope i dont have to buy another program. I honestly dont see why its doing this, one day im getting all my songs done and they record perfect, the next day all my new recordings are out of sync. Pleeeease someone help, Id really like to begin recording again without going crazy. thanks -Frank |

Hmm...it could be hardware related. What's your soundcard and video card? Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |

How could it be though, it worked perfect for this long, and suddenly it doesnt. I think i might take the computer back to Best Buy which was probably my first mistake. I paid a lot of money for this computer to be having these problems. Let me find some of the specs. ok, I have 2 hard drives, one is 93 gb, and the other is 37 gb. Pentium 4 w/sse2, GeForce4 mx420 graphics processor. my computer is a VPR matrix 6100. SoundMAX integrated digital audio. Hopefully someone has a remedy cause im bummed. thanks -Frank |

Integrated, plain-vanilla soundcards are pretty much dodgy at best, especially when it comes to pro audio editing/DAW editing. Adding to that, a video card and its drivers don't help much either. You may want to try lowering your video acceleration a notch or two (or even turn it off). Also see if you can get updated drivers for your soundcard and/or video card (if any exist).
