Hey ppl.

I use acid to make mix cd's from mp3's, and i need to know how could you remove just the bass (or a certain amount of it) say from the last 20 secs of the track?

thanks

It is very hard to remove selected instruments from a mix if you don't have the tracks separated. Your best bet is to use a good EQ, to notch out the bass frequecy. Usually around 40-50 Htz .

insert a track assignable effect.

insert an eq. (if you are trying to drop the bass you might want to add a paragraphic eq for "shelving" the bass)

right click on your song and click on insert volume, fx envelope.

where ever you want the bass to start dropping, right click there and click on "add point" (add a point at the end of the song also)

adjust the envelopes to your hearts desire.

do this for each track you want to shelf the bass on
