Subject:Is there a way to make a hidden track that comes before the song??

it's hard to explain, but i have a cd where this is done.

you put the cd in, and at the start of track 1, you hit rewind and it goes backwards into the negatives. as you're rewinding you can hear the typical noise of a song being rewinded, etc. then you release rewind and the the song plays and the track time is counting down to track 1. hopefully i explained it right. is there a way to do this using acid?? is there a way to do this at all using downloadable software? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know CD Architect 5.0 can do that.

However, I believe the CD burner being used also has to have such support built into it. Make sure you check the documentation for your burner.

Eh, I don't see how a burner could break this...maybe a non-standard/cheap/odd one, but I know mine can and it's...well...uh..."not new."

ACID will NOT do this. NO WAY. Its Track at Once burning doesn't do these kinds of fancy tricks.

CD Architect, now that software can do this with one hand tied behind its back. Your burner isn't so much an issue as making sure the CD doesn't just fail to read properly (Screwing with the TOC can lead to coasterization). But CDA is solid, so you shouldn't have any trouble making this work. Check the CDA forums and the manuals, I've seen it discussed....though I prefer hidden tracks at the end of CDs.
