here's a new one. for the last couple days acid works fine for me while i work on a project and save it, but then when i reopen it later some of the tracks in the project play back as just glitchy jackhammer-like noises. if i delete them and re-create them, they play fine. makes no sense to me. anyone got any advice?

It happens to me when I move projects to a different computer and have to specify where the files are. They only way I have found to get around it is to save your projects as an acid.zip or copy all media with project. But you're not moving projects to different computers. Mabye you should get Acid Pro 4.0

If anything, try uninstalling and then reinstalling ACID Pro 3.0. (You might want to try and install only the update located here; it actually acts as a full version (provided you enter your serial key).)

thanks, Iacobus. i'll give that a try. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling before, but just used the original CD, not the update.
