Subject:How to get: peaks = 0, rms = -10, volume = equal for all songs

Hi! I record music from old cassestes and vinyls. In your last answers, you tell me to normalize peaks to 0 (-0,1). When I check later for peak and rms values, rms values are varying between -10 an -20 and peak is 0 for different songs. But when I normalize to rms 10 (or 12), peaks are also varying. Songs that I try to record are very different in volume. After I record normalized songs to cd, I noticed that songs are not equal volume. What action should I use to get peaks = 0 (or -0,1) and rms = -10 (or -12). Which setting should I use to get peaks 0, rms -10 and all songs equal volume. Thanx, Robert |
