i use acid with a uad card and i am considering getting a T.C. powercore element. i know id have to use a DX/VST wrapper in order to make it work . has anybody tried this and is it worth the hassle.

also what DX/VST wrapper would you recommend. ive never used one.

thank you

the element is tempting. i own a uad-1. if you're after compressors the uad is much better. dx versions work well with acid.

i have a uad card and its good but id like to use the T.C. classic verb for reverb and maybe the inflator and master x 5.
i really dont like the realverb.

tried the demo(of dreamverb) ,very metallic, not my personal taste .i have the sonic timeworks reverb and i prefer to use that instead.

i have listened to the tc megareverb on a protools system and it sounded pretty good. the classic verb( on POWERCORE) is compared to the pcm 90 lexicon reverb units.

i have a lexicon mpx-1 that i have hooked up with my pulsar cards but id rather have a reverb thats readily available inside the acid project so i can adjust levels make changes if i need to.
its just more convient to have all your effects for mixdown within your project.

I'm interested in this string since the last time I had a track with 25 tracks & at least 14 of them with "insert" effects (many of them compressors & reverbs at different rates of compression/reverb) & damn, if the track didn't start stuttering at this point- would having a powercore help in this instance?
