I'm sure this is a real stupid question but here goes. Before, in view, I would click on options like "track properties" "plugin" etc... and the window would show as an independant window, that I could move around and Max or Min. Like any other window. One day I moved the window to the lower section of the screen and It got sucked in. The windows now show up as tabs in the explorer section. I can figure out how to change the option back? |

Click and drag the move handle away from the edge of the parent window. It should go back to being just a window itself. (The move handle is the gray shaded 3D bar on the left side of the window.) To prevent this from happening again, hold down CTRL while dragging a window. You can also uncheck the option "Allow floating windows to dock" on the General tab under Options>Preferences to permanently disallow windows to dock.
