I have Acid Pro 4 and have begun using it to record tracks but the sound levels are way too high when I record and I always get clipping unless the volume of my input (bass, guitar, keys, drum machine, etc.) is almost completely off. Any suggestions for how to lower the input level coming into Acid Pro without shutting down the source voulme would be appreciated. |

You should use the mixer software that came with your soundcard. Or use the windows volume control utility. |

Another item to note, if you're always getting superhot levels. Not sure what kind of soundcard you're using, but if it has 1/8" jacks, make sure that you're plugging into the Line-in jack, rather than the mic-in jack. HTH, Joel |
