Subject:ACID/REASON REWIRE TROUBLE?

i have reason rewired to acid...out of nowhere, i began to have problems with the racks in reason not being able to play any sounds by themselves. if i try to audition say a drum kick in reason, it wont do anything. if i try to play a redrum pattern, it wont play. the only way i can get reason to play is if i press play in either acid's or reasons transport bar (so that they are synced together). any ideas????
much appreciated

Welcome to rewire world. I guess someone needs to fix that. I'm fine rewiring Reason to Protools, but doing it in Acid, you can't audition sounds or anything. The only way around that right now, is build your Reason tracks out of rewire mode, and then arrange them once you're rewired. Hope this helps.

You need to enable real-time MIDI in ACID for ReWire devices to be live all the time.
