Subject:So I cant sell the music i make legally?

It says royalty free and license free, but in the end user agreement it says im not allowed to use the software commercially... Pretty contradictory. Could someone reply to this and either confirm or deny this. Thx a bunch!

Where did you read that? A lot of people in this forum use ACID professionally/commercially. Films are scored using it. Major albums are recorded with it. There's no way they'd get the price they do for it if it was only meant to be for non-commercial use.

Apparently that phrase appears in the license agreement for the Screenblast version of ACID. The Pro license doesn't say that.

Stupid question, but how would they know? A rendered wave is a rendered wave, isn't it?

Hmmm...if you take a look at the EULA on Sony's site, it says nothing to the effect of prohibiting the commerical use. It applies to everything in Sony's familiy of apps too, consumer and professional.

I just think it might have been something that was overlooked. (That happens a lot with manuals.)
