This is probably a simple one for some of you guys. I have this horrible wavering backgroud hiss that pops up when I make an acid track. I have pulled my hair out about it and tried everything I can with levels etc. Nothing seems to kill it. I am running acid 2.0 on a Dell with XP. Please suggest anything you can think of. Thanks. you can reach me at johannaparis@aol.com or csujimm@yahoo.com Jim |

Does the track's content itself sound OK? Did you try what's suggested in this KB article?; it could be ACID is trying to timestretch your recordings. Also, generic soundcards (and those that are Sound Blaster compatible) are notoriously noisy. You failed to mention what you're using for an audio interface (or soundcard). Pro-level soundcards can be had for as little as $150 plus they're much quieter than your average soundcard. HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |
