Subject:ACID 3.0 Recording Problem

I have put 4 tracks, cut them the way I want, placed them, and hit record. It does so, but it neither builds peaks, and when I go to play the created track, all I get is a heaping load of nothing. Can anyone help?

What are you trying to record?

It seems like what you're trying to do is make a finished mixed version of your project. If this is the case then you should be using the Render As function instead of recording.
