Why don't you grab yourself a Matrox card, a copy of Premiere Pro and go scream at the others in the Adobe forums about how Premiere Pro doesn't auto crossfade and has substandard audio support?

Are you getting this error with an external hard drive? You may want to disable "write caching on the disk" which is under policies for that hard drive in Device Manager.

i use a firewire card - it's all you need unless you want analogue then a dv converter does the job i use a advc 100 with no problems.
And anyway premiere sucks!!!! i never got realtime effects with it. unlike vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

April will be the deciding point as to what Sony will do THIS year (NAB). Zippy, I would'nt count on hardware support this year. Who knows if it will ever happen. Let's just hope for improvements on the current version with new features and fx. I would thank god a milloin times if they would just make the snapping worth a sh*&t.
