Subject:SF7 workaround for reading IVC, VOX, AU/SND, DIG/SD Posted by: SonyTSW Date:2/3/2004 9:38:29 AM Sound Forge 7.0 does not properly handle the reading of the following file formats: Intervoice (IVC), Dialogic VOX ADPCM (VOX), NeXT/Sun (AU, SND), and Sound Designer 1 (DIG, SD). The workaround is as follows: 1. Download and install Sound Forge 7.0a 2. Check the "Always proxy compressed formats" checkbox in the File page of Preferences 3. Restart Sound Forge This bug will be corrected in a future update of Sound Forge 7. Note: This is not a problem in earlier versions of Sound Forge, such as SF6, SF5 etc.
