I clued in the other day that I could "rip" my LP collection with Acid and burn the tracks to CD.

I'll be going from turntable to stereo amp to mixer to MiaMidi to Acid.

Any tips or suggestions?

seems as if you got it down. theres really nothing you missed. my only suggestion would be to record into an editor rather than acid if you have one! (sound forge, cool edit) acid might get a little tedious cuz its gonna want to beatmap all your tracks all the time. nothing big, just might be a little more efficient if you record into an editor.

You could do that, sure. It's a bit more involved, though, as ACID will burn an entire project as one CD track.

(You'd have to create an ACID project for every LP track you intend to create as a CD track.)

As a result, CD Architect and Sound Forge are more suited apps for this task. (You could also use Roxio's Easy CD Creator or Ahead's Nero.)
