Thanks! I think I 've got the different parts, but I haven't quite put it together yet. I think I'm still confused with the sequencer. Acid and reason are very cool together! I just thought of a question. When acid is open and reason is rewired to it, I can't play the sounds in reason with my keyboard. Am I doing something wrong, or is an aspect of rewire?

you should still be able to play the sounds through your keyboard. even in rewire mode. what kind of keyboard is it? i just use the simple, yet very effective, oxygen 8. i have noticed that you need to make sure that reason is your ACTIVE screen when trying to preview or play sounds through it. if at all possible, i would go out and buy a very cheap video card (you can get no name cards for like 30 bucks now) and a cheap 15 or 17 inch monitor. try running dual monitors. YOU WILL GET SOOOOOO MUCH MORE WORK DONE!!! with both programs open and visible, life becomes so much more fun!! :) as far as the sounds go, like i said you should be able to play your sounds. there is a setting in acid (i dont remember where it is to be honest, im sure its under preferences) where you can tell acid to "make media off line while not the main application in view" (or something along those lines) make sure that box is checked. thats how i have mine and like i said, im able to play sounds with both apps running.
lemme know if this worked...

I did it again and it worked like a charm! I went back and forth between programs and it was great.

I'll work on it. I don't quite has the inspiration down yet with reason. I guess I'm still having to think too much.
