I'm considering buying a small mixer and/or an external sound card for doing voice over work with my laptop. What equipment do you guys like, use, suggest I consider? Budget not giant but I want something that will work well... so whatever. Thanks - Will |

Maybe anything from M-Audio's mobile line? (They're not exactly "budget" though, but they do deliver.) There's Echo's solutions too. HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |

Stay away from consumer sound cards no matter how good they claim to be. A decent USB sound card w/ a mic pre would save you $. The rest you can spend on a quiet large diaphram mic with a shock mount. |
