I frequently get stuck notes on softsynths. Is there a way to fix this (a midi panic button?)

If you stop project playback, does the stuck note still play?

Tools | Reset all MIDI ports

or

Ctrl-Alt-F7

You can even add it to your toolbar.

The notes are stuck when playback stops and the reset midi ports button doesn't work. It's not an external device, it's a soft synth. Also, some soft synths are more likely to have stuck notes than others.

Is this just me or is anyone else having this problem?
