I was wondering if there is development environment which would allow a user to write script files that can be saved as DX pluggins.

For example I want to generate clips from standard wav files and then automatically apply a fade to the remaining 10 seconds of the song.

So far Batch Converter works like a charm however the auto fade feature is what is lacking so far.
