Hi Guys, I have created some long wave files that I would like to burn to CD. As they are long I was wishing to mark the file in several areas so as to enable me to access certain sections quickly without having to wait or skip through the CD until I get to the point I wish to hear. I have broken the large file into several smaller files and then burned to CD with ''no pause between tracks'' but there is always an audible gap between the files that I cant eliminate. Is there some magic out there? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

Are you burning in Disk-at-Once mode? What software are you using for burning? |

Sound Forge will only burn Track-At-Once (TAO) CDs, which puts a :02 sec. space between trk.s ... yes it sucks, but there are ways to work around it. I'm curious, how did you mark and save the file so it was continuous across the breaks. I've tried but been unable to make a smooth job of it. Thanks for any tips you may have. [edit] Got it. Ah, use the marker when recording, adjust placement afterward, and then jump between them and highlight with ctrl+shift+arrows. Ctrl+e to paste into a new file. Thanks. |
