Does anyone know if Acid 4.0 has a Midi or Audio Click option Just like all the other seqeuncer progams out there.?
How does one start to record without a click ????

Its a fundumental part of staring a recording ???
Hard to believe 2004 and no Click???

It's not really necessary. Just throw any old beat-box loop in the timeline, stretch it out and you've got yourself at click track.

There are even some click one-shot samples floating around.

Yeah, just get a one-shot (casio vl-tone beeps are great), magnify up and draw four to a bar, make the first one louder (cursor to middle of sample should turn into a finger... now click and drag down to reduce the gain of the 2-3-4) and pitch first up +12 for bar reference (highlight and hit + key 12 times) then copy em out as many times as you like.

You'll also notice the mouse pointer changes when you put it in the top corners of an event. Try clicking and dragging left and right to see the autofade envelope for each sample. You can adjust the fade type by putting the mouse over the envelope and right click>fade type. (This can take a few tries if you've got envelopes on the track, as you may grab those instead).
