Subject:Syncing Posted by: ap5885 Date:1/20/2004 7:08:09 PM I just recently bought Sony ACID Pro 4.0. The only reason I purchased the product was to record my band. Anyway, I can reacord the first track fine, but then when I try to record a second track, the two tracks don't sync up right. We're playing along with the playback, it's just when we try to play the two tracks together, they never sync. PLEASE HELP!

This will give you a One-shot track, which is not stretched in any way by ACID. Note that ACID is not a multitracker in the truest sense either; that title belongs to Vegas alone. However, you should be okay as long as you don't go crazy with the disk-based tracks. You may want to learn how to take snippets of your tracks and ACIDize them in the future. It'll definitely fix the problems you described, as well as add Rewire support, make softsynths useable, the piano roll editor is improved, the list just goes on and on, these are just a few things that leap to mind. Trust me, even if you don't use most of the improved features and/or are on a modem connection, it's well worth the download and it'll save you hours of grief.
