Ok hey everyone i just got Acid Pro 4.0 And I Dont Know How To Record My Voice Onto Instrumentals/Beats Can Anyone Help Rather Sooner Than Later I Really Want To STart Recording ,,,, Thanks David Woods |

you're asking quite a broad question.... are you asking how to record your voice into the program? how to set up your program to record an input? it SEEMS that you know that stuff, but you just want to know how to physically record your voice... IF THATS THE CASE.... 1. make sure you have a pair of headphones to play your backing tracks... 2. ideally, you should record into a sound editor (sound forge, cool edit...etc...) 3. if no sound editor is available, record directly into acid. 4. record at a relatively LOW volume (you can always bring levels up later) you cant bring distorted or clipped levels to an acceptable level!!!!! 5. beat map your vocals (which should be pretty accurate since youre singing over a backing track) 6. arrange your vocals. 7. add effects (compression, reverb, delay) 8. adjust levels. this is obviously a VERY BROAD way to record, but its the basics...youll learn what suits your needs best. --marc |

what are you having trouble with??? can you not figure out how to record?? do you not know where to set your levels?? do you not know how to beatmap your vocals?? do you not know how to set your card to record an audio inpuut?? is it not recording at all??? you need to be specific if youre looking for help...i cant guess!?!?!?!?!?!? -marc |
