I recently downloaded to trial versions of Sound Forge and Noise Reduction. I originally captured video of a band concert into Vegas. I wanted to try some things in Sound Forge with one of the clips. I opened Noise Reduction and previewed the song. I keep getting these high pitched beeps during playback. What is that and how do I get rid of it? I do not get the beeps when playing this clip in Vegas. |

The beeps in Noise Reduction are normal as it's just a demo version. (It's actually how the demo versions of the plug-ins work.) HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |

Why does the demo versions have that? It seems really stupid to add annoying beeps when the program is suppose to reduce noise. Your sure that if I buy the full version I won't have that problem? Thanks |

That is precisely the point. The demo version does it's job well enough so that you can see how it performs, but it puts in the occasional beep so that you can't use it to make money without buying it officially. Then after you've bought your license you get to use it without the beeps. They're just trying to make sure you pay for it if you use it. If you decide you don't want it then you don't pay for it. |

Okay, thanks. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something that was incompatible with my sound card or something else. I've never tried any of the plug-ins before. |
