Plextor DVD-RW

Hi all, i just purchased a Plextor 708A DVD-RW drive, works okay within WindowsXP/Nero etc. But, DVDA will not see it as a drive??? Cannot use it to burn a DVD!
My other drive is a Pioneer A06 - works okay, had a Sony DRU-500 which also worked okay. Why is the plextor drive not supported with DVDA?

Sony, what are doing to me? I bought this drive because it will burn 8X DVD+R. Is there an update I should know about or do have no choice but to return it and buy something else? I'm using DVDA ver1.0c.

I'm having the same problem with the Plextor 708A. DVDA saw the drive the first time but, I opened it the second time and it wasn't showing. The Roxio DVD write-ware, I also have, sees it. Someone in the forum mentioned a conflict with having more than one DVD write-ware programs on the same machine under XP Pro. I'm going to try and uninstall the Roxio software to see what happens. I'll get back to you.

I uninstalled the Roxio software and now DVDA sees the DVD R drive.
