Subject:effects - suddenly missing Posted by: CitizenDan Date:1/11/2004 11:05:58 AM Hi - I use Sonic Foundry 5.0. Out of nowhere, many of the effects from the Effects pull-down menu have vanished. There are now 6 (acoustic mirror, dynamics, etc.) where there used to be many more, such as reverb, delay, etc. I've been using the product for two years, and this has never happened. Reinstalling the product didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks.
Subject:RE: effects - suddenly missing Reply by: marcarotsky Date:1/11/2004 11:53:40 AM do you mean sound forge 5.0??? if so, that happened to me before also. try to remember WHERE you installed the effects to. i use sound forge 7.0 right now, so youll have to excuse me not remembering how sf 5 is set up. i believe the top toolbar has an option that says "dx favorites?" under that you should see an option that says organize. when you click on organize, you will see where all your effects are hidden. highlight them all and drag them back to your "dx favorites" folder. once again, youll have to excuse me cuz im trying to do all this from memory. i could be totally off. if that doesnt solve your problem or those options arent there for you, you might wanna try posting this same message in the "sound forge" family forum. sorry i couldnt help any more.... --marc
