Tempo changes problem for midi recording -ACID Product Family

Subject:Tempo changes problem for midi recording Posted by: JD57 Date:1/10/2004 1:56:28 AM I think I have isolated this problem as follows: When my project is at it's base tempo that I have set up - 70 Bpm - Midi recording is fine and in sinc. It is when I try to record past a tempo change marker that there is a problem and it is directly porportionate to the change of tempo. In other words if I am trying to record at say a tempo change of up to 72 Bpm there is a slight variance in playback. Tryiing to record Midi after a 80 Bpm marker gives a drastic difference. It is as if the midi is being recorded at the original 70 bpm tempo and ignoring the tempo change. This explains why it is playing back faster. It is being recorded at "70" and played back at 80. How can this be? Anyone? RC
