I'm new to Acid (just bought version 4). I got everything working great but one thing: hearing my panning settings. In the Acid mixer my panning shows up just fine (peaking in the left and right channels). But zippo is coming through headphones or monitors. All audio is centered as far as panning goes. I've got a MiaMidi with both outputs going to a mixer. From the mixer the audio goes out the Tape Out to an old stereo amp and then to the speakers. Mixer headphones, no panning. Amp headphones, no panning. Amp speakers, no panning. Any suggestions? |

I take it you're using the MiaMIDI's 1/4" outs? So you can't hear but can see the audio working in ACID? Which outputs are you using on the mixer? There are usually two buttons on a mixer, "tape to control room" and "tape to mix". Engaging the "tape to mix" button will send the mix (via tape out) to your monitoring system. Also check to ensure the channels in the MiaMIDI's software mixer are not muted or their sliders turned down. (I'm not entirely familiar with the MiaMIDI, but I'm sure others here can help out.)
