Subject:When a Linux version for ACID

Hello,

I'm a Linux user and I would prefer a Linux version of my favourite music-maker software ACID to the windows one.
Is anyone from the Sony management here on the forum who could answer us if they intend to develop linux versions for these tools?

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting. Yes, this would be a nice thing to have, including Linux versions of all the SONY Media software. I don't know if SONY feels differently about this than SonicFoundry did, but SonicFoundry always used to say that there would never be versions for anything but Windows.

I have heard rumors that someone has successfully gotten Sound Forge & Vegas to run under WINE on RedHat. I haven't tried it myself but i probably should sometime.
