I've got a mic plugged into the input 1 jack and when I hit the record button, I just get the left track recorded and not a stereo image. Since both of the waveforms of the recording should be identical, is there any way that I can record with the one mic and have it go to both chanels? Do you think I have either the sound card or Acid set up incorrectly? I've looked through the preferences settings of both and haven't found any settings that work. Any help/insight would be appreciated... Thanks - John

This is the way audio hardware/drivers work in general. Since it is a mono signal no matter how you look at it, you should just record it as a mono signal. You can select either the left or right channel in the ACID record dialog. Peter

That's what I do if I want a stereo signal to play around with in track view. Hope that helps. Kev
