you got the right product. and what youre looking to do is "remixing" but to be honest, the art of remixing cant be taught over a forum. its something you need to just keep doing and practicing. in its simplest form, you have a whitney vocal, you need to beatmap it. and then put a loop behind it. taking a song and putting different beats and loops and sounds behind it is called remixing. to me, thats what it seems like you are wanting to do. just keep using both products. you got EXACTLY what you need to do this. if you have specific questions, id be more than happy to help you (or anyone here im sure would be more than happy to help). --marc |

Unless you have the original track where Whitney (or whoever else) is singing alone, than no, what you're asking isn't possible. Extracting vocals from an already mixed down song isn't possible. The best alternative would be to find an "unplugged" version of a song you like from a particular artist and use that. The next best thing is as Marc suggested. Import a song from an artist you like and remix using loops and maybe even your own recordings. Acidplanet.com sometimes has remix contests where you get samples of vocals to download and remix loops. The best remix wins prizes. Just to give you an idea, they've had Madonna and Depeche Mode to remix before. As Marc stated, this IS the BEST software to remix! Extracting Whitney's vocals from an existing song isn't possible, no matter what software you have. M |
