Hi, Since I have seen some major issues with Acid 4.0 I was wondering if the Screenblast ACID 4.0 has the same issues that Acid Pro 4.0 has? Is ACID 3.0 still a better product to hold on to until Acid 5.0 comes out? |

? Do you have ACID Pro 3.0? You'd be essentially downgrading if you got Screenblast ACID 4.0. Have you tried the demo of ACID Pro 4.0 yet? You could determine yourself whether or not it's for you. However, you can bet there are more satisfied users than those that are dissatisfied. HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |

I never owned Acid 3.0 (I upgraded from Acid style 2.0) - & I am ,generally, very satisfied with Acid Pro 4.0 & geez...you don't have to look very hard to find a copy for 150 bucks (or less, maybe, if you go to ebay) - Screenblast is for someone just getting their feet wet in the loop based production thing. |

The biggest difference is no DX plugin support in Screenblast. You could probably live without the ability to adjust stretching properties & the other "Pro goodies," but to not have DX support is a deal-breaker if you are AT ALL serious about making your music sound as good as possible. |

Thanks to all for answering!. Duh... I guess I forgot about the Demo for ACID 4.0. Geez, I was remembering seeing something about Sony not providing Demo's for programs. I should have checked. Thanks Again! |
