Hey everyone (especially Sony guys)...My ACID 4.0 won't start up. I've reinstalled it a number of times, even different versions (after completely uninstalling), and it's still giving me this message:

ACID40 caused an invalid page fault in
module ACID40K.DLL at 018f:011c0412.

I'd appreciate any help you can give. Thanks!

Anything else running in the background when you try to launch ACID? Make sure you shut any apps down beforehand. (Firewalls, antivirus and other utility apps are common apps.)

I had actually tried that...and it still didn't help.

I finally got it to stop giving me the error message by uninstalling and then renaming the old ACID directory to something else and reinstalling clean.

It works now. Now if I could only get it to stop stuttering during playback.

The fun never ends!

Ahh, OK.

After you uninstall, it's OK to delete any folder residue leftover from the old install before you reinstall.
