Subject:How do I change midi patches Posted by: Lamonica Date:12/31/2003 7:42:22 PM I am using the GS Wave Table Software Synth with an external midi keyboard. How do I change the Instrument patch. I just get the default piano patch but would like to change to a different instrument. I do not see any user interface that lets me do this. I am not using any DLS Soft Synth. Any suggetions?

Since the GS Wave Table Software Synth appears as an external MIDI device to ACID, you have limited internal control. Q: Why use the GS Wave Table software synth? It is the same thing as the DLS synth ACID supports internally. By using the internal DLS synth, you can control patches/voicing directly from with in ACID and you can add FX to the signal path/bus of the DLS synth and you can load in different DLS synth banks.
