Is there a way to set the loop points on a midi file in Acid Pro 4?

In the Piano Roll Editor, or on the timeline? Try setting the Loop Region in either and press Q. (Press the play button in the Piano Roll Editor to isolate the loop playback of MIDI there.)

No, I mean the points at which a midi file loops when you draw it on the timeline. Is there a way to mark the end of a midi file? Acid sometimes puts in space at the end of a midi file, and it doesn't always put the right amount of space in.

No. The only thing you can do is trim the ACID MIDI track data in either the piano roll or list editor.
