Subject:Recording in Acid

I am trying to record into Acid 4.0 from my mixer and when the record window opens the faders don't move. It seems acid is not receiving the signal. ANY suggestions on what I should do. thanks

What is your mixer's output going into for an audio interface/soundcard? Check to ensure that the selected hardware input on your soundcard is enabled and its sliders all the way up via its software mixer.

Also be sure you have the chosen hardware input for recording available under "record device" in the Record window.
