I'm setting up Acid 4 and can not get volume on the audio output. When create a MIDI track and load a VSTi I can see the input from my Midi keyboard, I can see the data on the recorded track and I can see the "meters" working. But no audio output. Speakers are coming out of a VSL2020 card. I'm assuming that I'm missing setting up the audio output but I just can't seem to locate the directions in the manual. Appreciate direction and or understanding of the concept. Although I'm familiar with office type applkications for years I'm not accustomed to audio software so I may be missing an accepted convention. -Howie |

Hello Howie, Try specifically selecting the card's ASIO or WDM driver model (if you haven't done so already) by going to Options>Preferences on the menu bar and then the Audio tab. Choose a specific "audio device type". (It depends on how your soundcard's drivers list the choices available.) Also check how your speakers are connected to the soundcard—what are you using for output? S/PDIF? Is it coaxial?
