Is there an easy way to move tracks a round short of dragging them? When I have more than a screenful of tracks and want to rearrange their order dragging a track off screen is time consuming. It would be nice if I could select a track, hit a key and type in the track number and the track would move to that position.

Also is there a way to record a new track and have it appear in a particular position rather than always appearing at the bottom of the track list? Same goes for mixing to a new track.

Chris,

Yes, if these "shortcuts" don't already exist, the Acid guys should create them.

And what about a command to to attach that loop repeat bar completely to a sample? Over and over and over, I'm enlarging these samples and moving the lines, and enlarging somemore, etc. It'd be nice if a SELECT click and SNAP TO SAMPLE command did the trick.

For your first question, there isn't one that I know of. Sorry.

For your second question, there isn't any way that I know of that would allow you to place the recorded track where you want before you close the Record dialog or when you bounce down. (Again, sorry.)

Another thing I hope exists and probably doesn't --

Instead of me manually copying and pasting a track a couple dozen times, is there any other easier command to do this automatically (ie, selecting track and typing 12x to have it repeat 12 times)?

No. Sorry. What you could do is select the copies of the track and then do a copy and paste.
