YES!!!! i use it, and lemme just tell you.......SOOOOOOO time efficient. (actually i use 3 monitors. (1 for acid, 1 for sound forge, 1 for reason) a lot easier having all programs up and visible, without having to minimize one and maximize another. but, yes...acid supports dual monitors. Like marc said, as long as you have a video card that has dual-monitor support (some even have 3 outputs), sure, you can do that. HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |

i use dual monitors with acid. i have the arrange page on screen 1 and the mixer, explorer, and chopper on screen 2 (undocked of course) equally divided into thirds. the vsti page and the effects plugin page floats above the second screen aswell(as needed). |

You can put more than one graphics card in a PC running Windows 98 or newer. You don't have to have a dual-head graphics card, but it's probably easier to set up. http://www.tech-report.com/reviews/2002q4/multimon/index.x?pg=1 |

yeah, i just have 3 display cards. (and yes, it was a pain in the arse to set up) 1 agp card (n-vidia) 2 pci cards (radeon) if you dont know how to get "down and dirty" with computers, i wouldnt reccomend doing it this way. there was a lot of changing "IRQ'S" for devices cuz one of the cards was trying to share an irq with my 10/100 card. but anyway....get a dual monitor output card. MUCH easier to set up!! -marc |
