Subject:tascam fw-1884 interface and ACID?

hi...I'm wondering if anyone knows to what extent, if any, the Tascam FW-1884 audio interface/control surface works with ACID. Can ACID be controlled from outside the computer? I assume it will at least recognize the available inputs (the Tascam has 8 analog and a bunch of digital inputs). But I don't know....do you?

i dont think so..but im not totally sure on this.

you have to send Midi signals and change channels and stuff and i dont think Acid will allow that.

but again, i may stand corrected
