Subject:Sound FX play double or weird in WAV files

Hi Everybody,

I have ACID 3.0 and have made some compositions that include both ACID music loops and the Sonic Foundry 1001 sound FX loops. I render out to 44.1k 16 bit stereo and then burn to CD in another program. The sound FX loops have errors - either play double, or are distorted. Is there something I can do to correct that?

Thanx,

TW

Are tthey set as loops or oneshots in Acid? If they are oneshots, you shouldn't have a problem. If they have tempo information, key information, or are "transposed" in Acid, there could be all sorts of audio yuck happening.

They are just one shots, and the distortion appears random. Some play fine, others mess up. Dunno.

Thanx,

So the problem appears in the rendered WAV file and not in the ACID project itself?

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling ACID?
