Subject:"3.0 Music" locks On Start Up

Acid Music 3.0g Build 365
P3 700 256 ram
Loaded program and it worked great for 6 months or so. Now I have a problem that the program locks on the start up screen and I have to Ctr-alt-del to shut it down. No error messages just not responding. What really gets me is if I keep tring to open it, it eventually opens and runs fine. Some days it opens first try other days 20th try. Have reinstall several time and deleted left over folders after each uninstall. Any sugestions?

Sonic Foundry products are usually pretty stable. Do any other apps have problems opening?

Did you recently install any new drivers or apps? The only thing I can think of off the top of my head was the problem with old ATI Catalyst Drivers (ver 2.something) causing crashes in a few apps including Sound Forge, Mozilla and Opera.
