Subject:Mouse Wheel Question

Heya All,

Wondering if there is a way to change the MOUSE WHEEL default configuration on Sound Forge 7.

I'd love to make it so that when editing a file, scrolling with the MOUSE WHEEL moves the cursor forward and back, rather than magnifying the wav.

I know this can be acheived by holding down the shift key but this extra step still throws me. Since I use the MOUSE WHEEL all the time for navigating, I'd love to change this.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Steve

SHIFT+mouse wheel scrolls the view horizontally; CTRL+SHIFT+mouse wheel moves the cursor.

The only thing I can think of is if your mouse had software that lets you assign a keyboard shortcut to the mouse wheel. Even then, I'm not sure if that would be possible. (You'd probably only be able to assign a shortcut to the mouse wheel button.)
