I am having a problem such that when I zoom in close horizontally while using a large audio file (7 minutes of stereo audio, 16 bit, 44.1 kHz), that was ripped from a commercial CD, a problem of stuttering and pauses occur when making loop point adjustments ( or any other adjustments using the mouse) with the mouse while in the play mode. Also if you try scrolling horizontally of the large audio file and zoom in horizontally of the wave form the display is very sluggish, and will interrupt smooth audio playback. Is there something that I can adjust to handle the large audio file that will allow you to zoom in close and not cause the stuttering and pauses? I noticed that when I cut an 8 bar section from the large audio file and paste it to new audio file (a much smaller file that has about 8 sec of stero audio, 16 bit, 44.1 kHz) there is no problem of stuttering and pauses while zoomed in close. |
