So, now that it's the same company, maybe the well documented bug will be fixed?

You know, the one where the DRU-5xx series burners lock up after DVDA ejects a completed disc? You have to manually push the drive door in, eject it again through "my computer," and then it will work again. Not a huge pain, but a nuisance nonetheless.

but i don't have that...weird

my sony is the DRU 510 UL (same as A but External)

I have the same prob and I even went into xp to tell it not to eject disc after burning, but it still does it and still stays open afterwards.

same problem here..total blue screen

i have to burn on my mac as a result of this
